Job Description
Company Description: ACI Logistics Limited, operating as Shwapno, is the largest neighborhood supermarket chain in Bangladesh, connecting rural farmers to end customers with 40 outlets in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet.
Role Description: Full-time on-site role in Dhaka, Bangladesh, responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and managing commodity purchasing for retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify reliable rice suppliers locally and internationally
- Negotiate pricing agreements and contracts
- Monitor market trends, analyze data, and oversee logistics
- Ensure quality standards for procured rice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of commodity management experience
- Strong knowledge of global and local rice markets
