Job Description
– Coordinate in procurement, sourcing and purchasing of vessels spares, stores, and supplies following company’s purchase policy.
– Actively manage vessels repair maintenance and servicing through third-party vendors.
– Monitor vessel movements, ensuring timely supply deliveries onboard.
– Assist in conducting vessel condition inspections and safety meetings.
– Prepare vessel budgets, plan dry docking requirements, and review costing.
– Identify new vendors for product quality and price competitiveness.
Educational Requirements: COC Class 3 or Master’s Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
– Minimum 3-4 years onboard ship experience or 7-8 years shore/office experience in shipping.
– Background in Marine Industry, Ship Technical, Purchase, Repair & Maintenance.
