Job Description

Company Overview:

We are a growing company specializing in construction. We are urgently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Uttara, Dhaka. If you are passionate about financial accuracy, managing accounts, and working in a dynamic industry, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and expense tracking.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Liaise with banks to manage the company’s financial transactions, handle loan accounts, and maintain a smooth relationship with financial institutions.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets and expense forecasts, ensuring spending aligns with company objectives.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
• Assist in financial planning and budget control to support the growth of our construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial laws.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective cost-control strategies.
• Support the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and banking procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with banks and stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with loan management and financial planning for business operations is a plus.
