Job Description
- A leading safety officer must start by identifying Hazards in the Workplace, such as Physical, Chemical, Mechanical, Ergonomic, Environmental, Radiation, Physiological, and Electrical Hazards.
- Communicating Hazards and initiating countermeasures through Engineering, Administrative Control, and PPE.
- Providing various trainings to employees including Induction, Job Specific, Specialists, Refresher, and Manager Supervisor Training.
- Performing Safety Inspections and changing negative attitudes through Behavioral Safety Training.
- Recognizing positive attitudes, conducting investigations on incidents, and carrying out audits to meet legal standards.
- Liaising with Government Agencies, conducting Risk Assessments, Tool Box Talks, HAZOP Studies, and preparing Emergency Plans.
