Job Description

Overall Role Purpose:

In the most efficient, professional and cost-productive manner, the Courier will sort, load/unload, deliver, and pick up all shipments within the designated service area. Responsibilities include meeting service quality levels and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:

• Customers:
  • Act as an ambassador for DHL and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain professional rapport with customers and ensure timely shipment delivery and pick-ups.
  • Record all shipment activities accurately.
• Process:
  • Suggest improvements for operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain the allocated vehicle and handle shipment paperwork accurately.
  • Handle freight with care and ensure shipment reconciliation.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Physical capacity for moving and lifting objects.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal style.
• Good personal presentation and grooming.
• Knowledge of local metro areas and exceptional customer service experience.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
