POSITION: Cost Accounting Manager

OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing cost-related activities, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy in our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes for accurate expense tracking.
- Analyze production costs and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and financial analyses.
- Collaborate across departments to address cost-related issues.
- Monitor budget variances and ensure accountability.
- Manage inventory valuation and uphold accounting standards.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budget preparation.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Knowledge of or qualification in CIMA is beneficial.
- Strong costing background in the apparel industry.
- Experience in costing related to denim products is advantageous.
