Under the NTTN license issued by BTRC, Fiber@Home Ltd. is developing a secured optical fiber backbone network using HDPE ducts placed underground in metro areas. Established in 2009, Fiber@Home is connecting the Upazila headquarters of Bangladesh, holding licenses for IIG and ITC services to offer telecommunication and entertainment services.
Role Description
This full-time on-site role in Rangpur Division requires overseeing the optical fiber network’s development and maintenance. Responsibilities include infrastructure planning, designing, implementing, regular inspections, and ensuring network security and reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience in optical fiber network planning, design, and implementation
- Knowledge of HDPE duct network construction and maintenance
- Skills in network security and reliability management
- Telecommunications and electronic entertainment services proficiency
- Effective team collaboration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
