Job Description

Overall Role Purpose:

Follow organization’s standard procedures and drive with route courier while pickup and delivery arrangement of shipment.

Main Accountabilities:

• Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work safety procedures
• Movement of vehicles, whilst complying with road traffic regulations and company policies and procedures
• Inform Supervisors and Team Leaders on all vehicle related issues
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition at all times
• Ensure vehicle is kept secure at all times
• Ensure vehicle is given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.
• Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of allocated vehicle

People Management:

• This role has no direct reports or personnel authority. Nevertheless, he/she can influence others to enable improvement and change within the organization

Requirements for the Job:

• Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Valid driving license
  • Good driving skills
  • Smart appearance

  • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
  • Knowledge of relevant Road Traffic Regulations
  • Ability to use / complete paperwork as required
  • Ability to effectively plan own work
• Experience:
  • 3/4 years driving experience preferably in an office environment
• Educational Qualifications:
  • Minimum Class Eight (08) passed
