Job Description
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field.
- CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network, or CCNP certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience as a data center technician.
- Extensive knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment.
- Experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.
- Strong teamwork and IT support skills with problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in documenting network processes and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to address network and server issues outside of regular hours.
Responsibilities include maintaining DC areas to safety and client standards, monitoring facility security, HVAC, and power systems, and troubleshooting power, servers, cables, and network devices.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in hardware installation, cabling, and hardware understanding.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Ability to document procedures, manage tickets, and understand DC power systems.
