Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Banking Consultant to join our team for an important consulting project with the Central Bank of Bangladesh. The consultant will help diagnose the current state of the banking system and work on resolving distressed assets in troubled banks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the banking system for financial stability and identify distressed assets.
- Conduct a needs assessment to determine the expertise and data required for bank recovery planning.
- Develop a roadmap for resolving troubled banks and distressed assets, including policy options like recapitalization, asset purchases, and mergers.
- Create a contingency framework to manage potential financial crises and identify contagion risks.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 Years of proven experience in banking consultancy, particularly with central banks or financial regulatory bodies.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, governance, and financial crisis management.
- Ability to develop and appraise policy options for distressed assets and bank recovery.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
