Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Specialist with expertise in vendor management, pricing strategies, and procurement of consumer items. This role involves sourcing high-quality products, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential vendors
- Source and evaluate vendors for competitive pricing and quality
- Negotiate pricing for cost savings
- Monitor market trends and vendor performance
- Collaborate with internal teams for demand forecasting
- Maintain records of contracts, pricing, and inventory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 3-4 years of FMCG/Retail supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation skills and market knowledge
- Proficiency in inventory management and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
